Why choose a log burner?
Stoves are generally a reliable source of heat which can radiate throughout a property. Modern wood burning stoves can be over 80% efficient, whereas open fires only reach around 20-25% efficiency.
If you are a Home owner or Landlord, Stoves can be an attractive centre piece, which no doubt adds value to a property both aesthetically and financially.
Burning wood has a zero carbon footprint, it produces the same amount of carbon dioxide when burning as it does absorbing carbon dioxide whilst growing. Therefore if you have a good supply of seasoned logs to burn (Ask Local Farmers or Tree Surgeons) you will reduce your carbon footprint and also your dependance on oil or gas.
